After Gustav, the Secretary of State pushed back the election dates. There is a second closed primary on November 4th for Democrats. Following that, Dec. 6th is the general election for District 2 Congress.Here are the details from the Secretary of State's website:

Louisiana statutes require you to be registered 30 days prior to an election to be eligible to vote in that particular election.EARLY VOTING Nov. 18-25!
Early Voting begins November 18 and runs through Tuesday the 25. Vote in person at:Orleans City Hall, 1300 Perdido St., Room 1 W24, New Orleans, LA
